August 11, 2014 3:01 pm

It's back! The annual Norfolk Latino Music Festival returns for its 14th year Saturday, August 16, at Norfolk's Town Point Park. With festivities kicking off at 5 p.m., this celebration transforms Town Point Park's eight acres into a vibrant, energy-packed dance floor. Live bands and DJs will provide the soundtrack to the event, while dance instructors will take the stage to lead demonstrations in bachata, merengu, and Zumba. To help you refuel after all that dancing, authentic food will be on offer, including the cuisine from area chefs and restaurants.

Family-friendly activities will take place between 5 p.m and 8 p.m., so bring the kids along. Event-goers ages 8 to 16 can join in on a game of soccer, then take part in a craft workshop that will lead instruction in making giant flowers. Older kids (16+) can enroll in the dominoes tournament!

Open to the public, the 14th Annual Norfolk Latino Music Festival at Town Point Park is free to attend! Whether you decided to travel from Northwest to the festival by car or ferry, this link has all the info you need about parking and directions.
